Your First Visit
A little nervous? That's completely normal.
If you've never been waxed before—or you're simply trying a new esthetician—you probably have questions. I’m here to make you feel comfortable, respected, and confident throughout your entire service.
I’ll explain everything step-by-step, guide you through positioning, and check in with you throughout the appointment. You never have to feel embarrassed or apologize- I’ve truly seen it all!
If you need a moment, have a question, or want me to slow down, just let me know. Commuincation is always welcome.
My goal is for you to leave feeling comfortable, cared for, and confident in your skin.
Here's exactly what you can expect at Bare & Beauty.
Before your appointment…
LET YOUR HAIR GROW!
Let your hair grow out before your appointment. We want ¼ inch, about 3-4 weeks of hair growth. Don’t worry if you think your hair is too long, the longer the better.
Exfoliate…
Gently exfoliate the area. I recommend some sort of scrub, exfoliating mitt, or dry brush.
Skin Care Products…
Stop using products containing retinoids, strong acids, or other exfoliants 5-7 days before your appointment, they can make the skin more vulnerable to lifiting or irritation.
AVOID…
Avoid tanning, sunburn, or irritating skincare on the area.
